Vercel earns TISAX AL2 label for automotive supply chain work
Vercel has completed its assessment for the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) at Level 2 (AL2), adding to its existing compliance portfolio that includes ISO/IEC 270001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, and HIPAA. The label is aimed at customers in automotive and manufacturing sectors that enforce specific security and data-protection requirements.
What TISAX covers
TISAX is an international information security standard developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and administered by the ENX Association. It provides a unified assessment framework so automotive OEMs, suppliers, and service providers can evaluate partners across complex supply chains without duplicating audits.
An ENX-accredited auditor independently reviewed Vercel's security and privacy practices against TISAX AL2 criteria. The level signals that the company maintains adequate safeguards for sensitive information and data protection expected in automotive and manufacturing environments.
What partners get from the label
- Supply chain acceptance: Vercel can be used within automotive supply chains that require service providers to hold TISAX labels.
- Faster vendor onboarding: Customers can pull Vercel's TISAX results from the ENX portal to satisfy third-party assessment needs during procurement.
- Security alignment: The assessment confirms adherence to accepted practices for data protection, risk management, and secure development.
