Event details and registration
GitHub Galaxy, the company's virtual global enterprise event, runs from March 28-31. Sessions are held in three regions across multiple time zones, and registration is free.
How the days are organized
Each day targets a specific business challenge for growing enterprises, so attendees can assemble the schedule that fits them. Every day includes a keynote broadcast, an interview-style fireside chat with a GitHub customer, and an interactive forum session for working through questions with other attendees in real time.
March 28: global keynote
The event opens at 9:30am PT with a keynote broadcast featuring GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, GitHub Chief Product Officer Inbal Shani, and other product leaders. The session covers how GitHub is building an AI-powered, secure, and fully integrated developer experience for businesses, teams, startups, and individuals.
March 29: flexibility and productivity
Day 1 focuses on helping individuals and teams be more flexible and productive, with an emphasis on accelerating high-quality software development and delivery through the developer experience (DevX).
March 30: security and reliability
Day 2 examines how businesses optimize their software development cycles and prevent vulnerabilities by embedding security into the developer workflow. Sessions are aimed at leaving teams able to scale DevOps quickly with security tools that do not trade away productivity or innovation.
March 31: efficiency and collaboration
Day 3 covers how enterprises increase efficiency, drive collaboration, and deploy secure and compliant code with enterprise-ready tools. The stated payoffs include lower costs, a simpler tech stack, shorter onboarding, and a better developer experience — which in turn affects retention and recruitment.

Canada-based communications and information technology provider Telus streamlined its developer workflow after switching to GitHub, saving $16.9M. GitHub Copilot is among the tools the event will showcase.
