Next.js Conf returns for its third year
Next.js Conf 2022 is set for October 25, with free virtual attendance. The event marks six years since the framework was first released, and the team behind it has promised "some of our largest improvements" to date. Alongside the announcement, Vercel unveiled a new logo for Next.js, described as "bolder and stronger" in line with the project's current trajectory.
Since its launch on October 25, 2016, Next.js has grown from a server-rendered React framework into what Vercel calls the industry-standard fullstack React solution for the web, surpassing 200 million downloads. The conference agenda is built around that evolution, with sessions aimed at helping developers build more efficiently and scale their applications.
Keynote and speaker submissions
The conference will open with a keynote from Vercel CEO and Next.js co-creator Guillermo Rauch. Organizers are still accepting speaker proposals for those interested in sharing their own experiences, and the full sponsor list includes MongoDB, Sanity, and Sitecore as Titanium Partners.
