Next.js Conf 2021: Registration Open for the Five-Year Anniversary Event
Vercel has opened registration for Next.js Conf 2021, marking the framework's fifth anniversary. The virtual event will be held on October 26, with the keynote starting at 9 a.m. PST.
This year's conference focuses on making the web faster and more dynamic through an improved developer experience. Vercel CEO and Next.js co-creator Guillermo Rauch will deliver the keynote kickoff. Following the main presentation, attendees can join breakout sessions led by the Next.js team, community members, and sponsors, covering both new features and established workflows.
Join the Community and Speaker Lineup
The conference extends beyond the main stage, with community interaction taking place in the Community Discord. The organizers are also opening the floor to additional speakers.
The event organizers are calling for proposals from developers with case studies or stories about their work on Next.js. Suggested topics include improvements to development workflows, site user experience, or problem-solving success stories with the framework. Those interested can submit a proposal to join the presenter lineup.
