WebDX Community Group opens Reddit AMA on web platform developer experience
The W3C WebDX Community Group, a cross-browser collective focused on improving the day-to-day experience of web development, will hold an Ask Me Anything session on the r/webdev subreddit on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
If you have checked a feature's Baseline status on MDN or filled out a State of HTML, CSS, or JS survey, you have already touched the group's work. Its mission targets the friction points developers hit when building for the web platform, and membership spans browser vendors, working developers, and other industry stakeholders.
The Reddit thread is open now, so questions can be posted ahead of the live session. The group has invited questions on several fronts:
- How the Baseline feature-status system works
- Feedback on how the group gathers developer signals
- Common pain points that the group should take on
- Ways for developers to get involved
You can post your questions in the AMA thread to join the conversation before the September 18 session begins.
