The 2025 Web Design Conference Calendar

Conferences are where the web design community gathers knowledge and meets the people it learns from, and they regularly expose attendees to material that moves careers forward. What follows is the running list of events for January through December 2025. It is maintained and updated over time, so bookmarking the page and checking back periodically is worthwhile.

Smashing runs two hybrid conferences — Freiburg and New York — alongside online workshops that let people work at their own pace with interactive exercises.

Game Developers Conference 2025 describes itself as the world's premier event for game developers, a destination for creativity, innovation and excellence that has spent 30 years bringing thousands of developers together to learn, grow and connect. The agenda, curated by game community leaders, offers talks, networking and recent technological achievements across five days, aimed at developers, industry leaders and companies alike.

Voxxed Days Ticino 2025 belongs to a series of developer-focused events organised by local community groups worldwide. iF Design Award 2025 draws almost 11,000 entries from 66 countries, making it one of the world's most prestigious design awards. Sponsored by the non-profit iF Design Foundation, it emphasises design's global significance and social relevance and guarantees jury impartiality under strict selection criteria. Experts from all represented disciplines select only the highest quality entries, and one innovation this year is a stronger emphasis on sustainability as one of five evaluation criteria in the hybrid jury process — the online preselection in December and the physical iF Final Jury in February, where the year's winners are chosen.
