Figma 2024: We shipped it, you shaped it
Figma has closed out its 2024 release cycle by highlighting how community input influenced its product updates.
In a year-end recap, the company notes that real design work begins once users get their hands on new features, and that each release was shaped by feedback from its user base.
The numbers tell part of the story: 180 new releases, 10,000 Config attendees, and over 220 Friends of Figma groups worldwide. But the bigger story is how users brought those tools to life, according to the company.
Pushing products further
The past year brought several notable updates: a refined UI3 interface with more user control, intentionally reworked AI tools, an enhanced Dev Mode for smoother code-to-design connections, and the launch of Figma Slides for presentations.
