Issue no.2: Rework Your Work
As the year winds down, Figma is pushing back against the Q4 slowdown with its latest newsletter issue, Rework Your Work. The edition is a rallying cry for designers, builders, and thinkers looking to overhaul their workflows and escape the typical end-of-year slump.
The issue highlights the power of incremental improvements over flashy additions. “You can make a bigger positive impact by focusing on the little actions users take most often than by adding a seemingly flashy feature that they don’t use,” says Sho Kuwamoto, Figma’s Vice President of Product. He explains how shipping quality-of-life fixes and bug patches is a foundational ritual at the company, arguing that standout product experiences hinge on details such as saving time and anticipating user needs.
The newsletter also points readers to stories on thinking small and how AI and prototyping are set to dismantle traditional workflows. Featured reads include “Working Well” and “The Long & Short of It” from Figma’s blog, alongside a hero illustration by Adèle Verlinden.
