Figma Files Public S-1, Plans NYSE Listing Under “FIG”
Figma has taken its next step toward going public. The company announced that its registration statement on Form S-1 has been made publicly available after an initial confidential submission to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in April. Figma has applied to list its Class A common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FIG.
The filing does not yet specify the number of shares to be offered or the price range for the proposed IPO. As is standard, the offering remains subject to market conditions, and there is no assurance as to whether or when it will be completed, nor as to the final size or terms.
Underwriters and Legal Details
Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Allen & Company LLC, and J.P. Morgan are serving as joint lead book-running managers. BofA Securities, Wells Fargo Securities, and RBC Capital Markets are acting as book-running managers, with William Blair and Wolfe | Nomura Alliance as co-managers.
As required, the company notes that the registration statement has not yet become effective, meaning the securities may not be sold or offers to buy accepted until that time. This announcement does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities. Once the preliminary prospectus is available, copies may be requested from the lead underwriters.
A Collaborative Design Platform
Founded in 2012, Figma began as a design tool and has expanded into a connected, AI-powered platform for product development. The company positions its software as serving teams across the entire process—ideation, design, building, and shipping—with an emphasis on collaboration across the full product lifecycle.
