Designer Pablo Stanley has released a totally free crash course for Figma, and at that price, it’s hard to argue with the value.
Figma’s rise is no accident—it’s solid software built around what digital designers actually need. It’s fast, runs in the browser so there’s no storage strategy to manage and nothing to lose, and it’s useful beyond just designers. The feedback tools are solid, sharing is effortless, and the collaborative team features feel like what modern software should offer out of the box.
I’m also a fan of how well Figma embraces newer web tech. I recently tried the Remove BG plugin and it just worked—nice.
