Frame-level control over generated video arrives in Weave
Runway's newest video model, Aleph 2.0, is now available inside Figma Weave. The integration targets a core limitation of generative video: fleeting, unpredictable output. Aleph 2.0 is designed to give you a transparent, repeatable path from an initial idea to a finished clip, all within the Weave canvas.
Directing longer scenes with consistency
The model handles clips up to 30 seconds, which means you can script and render a complete narrative beat in one pass. Reference images can be attached to set the desired look, and Aleph 2.0 will carry that aesthetic across the entire video without disturbing elements you intend to keep untouched. Edits are not isolated to a single keyframe; the model understands that a change directed at a subject should track and persist with that subject throughout every frame they appear in.
A workflow of sequential decisions
Aleph 2.0 does not abandon iterative design. The node within Weave is structured as a connected workflow, letting you preview the impact of an edit before committing to it. This approach allows for refining directions over time, mimicking the step-by-step process of building a complex scene. You never have to assemble the entire video's logic in a single prompt; you build it up, decision by decision.
Expanding beyond the original capture
Scene elements are not static content once they are on the canvas. With Aleph 2.0 in Weave, you can alter the camera angle, insert a new character, or entirely rebuild the environment without planning a reshoot. This capability allows teams to explore several distinct visual directions side-by-side and develop ideas in parallel, removing the friction of a complete restart for every new approach.
