Live Online Workshops For Front-End And UX Teams
Keeping front-end and design skills current means working through real problems, not just watching talks. Smashing’s online workshops are built around that idea: live, multi-day sessions where attendees work through practical examples with instructors from the community. The format is designed to avoid the usual screen fatigue, with each session capped at 2.5h and spread across weeks, leaving room for questions, discussion, and feedback.
Every workshop is interactive. Expect live conversations, exercises, group work, and homework rather than passive listening. What To Expect From A Session
The workshop format was designed from scratch to counter the usual downsides of remote learning. Rather than long, dense sessions, each one runs for 2.5h across multiple days, giving attendees time to absorb the material and ask the questions that matter to them. Instructors avoid rushing through content, aiming instead for a welcoming and inclusive environment where discussion is encouraged.
Practical application is the core focus. Workshops are not talks; they involve live interaction, challenges, and team exercises, all centered on real-life techniques you can apply immediately. If you miss a live session, the recordings let you catch up within the same day, and you'll also have access to all slides and supporting materials.
