Where CYBERTEC Lands in 2026
CYBERTEC's calendar for 2026 is a mix of in-person sponsorships and a dedicated migration webinar. The company, known for maintaining Patroni and running large European PostgreSQL deployments, is appearing at community events across the continent and offering a deeper online session for teams weighing an Oracle exit.
European Conference Circuit
The year starts on the community trail with two September gatherings in quick succession. PGDay UK 2026 takes place in London on September 8, with CYBERTEC attending as a Benefactor Sponsor for a full day of talks. Two days later, the team appears at PGDay Lowlands 2026 in Utrecht on September 10, backing the event at its highest sponsorship level as what is billed as the largest PostgreSQL gathering in the Netherlands.
October shifts the focus to the data platform engineering crowd. Data Stack Conference 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria, runs on October 13 with CYBERTEC as a Platinum Sponsor, aimed at engineers designing and operating modern data infrastructure. The month closes with PostgreSQL Conference Europe 2026, held in Valencia from October 20–23, where CYBERTEC joins at the Platinum level.
Oracle Migration Webinar
For those who cannot make a European event, CYBERTEC is hosting a virtual session on November 5, 2026 at 12:00 CET. The webinar, run jointly with DESIC, covers real migration workflows from Oracle to PostgreSQL, with engineers demonstrating practical timelines and what "secure by design" means outside of a slide deck.
Live High Availability Demonstrations
At the in-person stops, the focus point is the Patroni-based high availability cluster. The demo setup shows automated failover as a live node is disconnected, giving a hands-on view of the orchestration logic rather than a static architecture diagram.
Missed Sessions and Ongoing Resources
For teams that didn't catch a booth demo or talk, the event recap video library holds teasers, highlight reels, and recorded floor conversations from prior shows. The social channel links below provide further updates from the engineering desk.
