State of Jamstack 2020: Data Deep Dive Released

Kentico Kontent has published a new interactive data visualization tool based on its State of Jamstack 2020 survey, which polled over 500 developers across four countries. The tool lets users explore how responses varied by age, gender, primary programming language, and other demographic factors.

The original survey examined Jamstack adoption rates, usage patterns, typical deployment and hosting choices, and how long developers have worked with the architecture. The Jamstack approach—a modern method for building websites and apps—is promoted for better performance, stronger security, lower scaling costs, and an improved developer experience.

The new visualization page allows browsing of detailed findings, such as where most US developers at large companies store content and which static site generator they prefer.
