Cloudflare wraps Security Week 2023 with 34 new tools
Cloudflare has closed out its annual Security Week, a seven-day stretch focused on expanding the company’s product lineup beyond traditional website protection. In a summary post, the company recapped the week’s announcements, which totaled 34 new tools and integrations designed to tackle a wider set of security problems while reducing dependence on multiple third-party vendors.
According to Cloudflare, the new offerings are built around five core goals: simplifying Zero Trust deployment and management, cutting the number of external services customers rely on, using machine learning to offload routine tasks from human analysts, sharing more of Cloudflare’s proprietary threat intelligence, and reducing the chance of human error.

To round out the week, the company also highlighted ongoing research into real-world attacks, including a report on how scammers were exploiting Silicon Valley Bank news to phish new victims, along with guidance on how to stay protected.
All of the week’s session recordings are available on Cloudflare TV, and the company teased that more developer-focused announcements are coming soon, with a dedicated week on internet speed planned later this year.
