SmashingConf Returns to Its Freiburg Roots This September
Smashing Magazine's in-person conference circuit is heading back to Freiburg from September 7–10, and it's a homecoming of sorts. Freiburg is where Smashing Magazine first began, making it the original home turf for the event. The two-day, single-track conference promises a lineup of familiar names alongside some fresh faces.
Scheduled speakers include Jake Archibald, Lyra Rebane (who impressed in a recent Smashing Meets session), Hidde de Vries, and Sarah Thompson, a recent Smashing "Person of the Week." There's also a mystery guest on the roster, which historically has turned out to be a notable speaker in their own right.
