Design Systems, Email, and UX Patterns: New Smashing Workshops

Building a resilient design system, keeping up with HTML email, and adopting smart interface patterns are all areas where practical guidance pays off. Smashing Magazine’s upcoming online workshops, running from August through October 2021, aim to provide exactly that — hands-on, live training for front-end and design professionals.

The workshop format is built around interactivity rather than passive viewing. Each session is split into 2.5-hour segments spread across multiple days, so attendees can ask questions, share their screens, and receive immediate feedback. The pacing is deliberate: no rushing through material, and plenty of time for discussion, tea breaks, or whatever else helps you stay focused. Live discussions and interactive exercises form the core of every workshop, with group work, homework, and peer reviews from participants around the world.

Recordings of all sessions are included, meaning you can revisit any part of the workshop later. All workshop materials are provided as well.

The Workshop Experience
