For over a decade, Smashing Magazine's monthly wallpaper series has brought together artists and designers from around the world to create a fresh collection of desktop wallpapers for the community. Each designer is given complete creative freedom, resulting in a diverse mix of styles and subjects. The February 2023 edition is no exception, with artworks ranging from cozy interiors to seasonal spring scenes. Every wallpaper in this post is freely available for download in a range of resolutions, in versions both with and without a February 2023 calendar.

Vlad Gerasimov from Georgia created a piece depicting a snug, detailed interior space that blends realistic and cartoonish elements. Gerasimov notes that this piece took longer than most of his work to complete, but considers it worth the effort.
