Mobile GitHub Workflows Come to Android
Handling team discussions, reviewing code, or triaging issues often doesn't require a full development setup. To support those lighter-weight tasks while away from a desktop, GitHub is now expanding its mobile application testing to Android users.
The GitHub for mobile beta for iOS launched at GitHub Universe 2019. Android users who joined the waitlist have started receiving email invitations with a link to join the test program. For those who haven't signed up yet, registration remains open, though the beta has a limited number of seats. GitHub plans to increase capacity as availability grows.
The fully-native Android app aims to let users move work forward and maintain team communication while on the go.
