Cloudflare opens up its enterprise stack to accelerator startups
Every startup has a bootstrapping phase: late nights, tight budgets, and creative workarounds to ship with limited resources. Cloudflare is targeting that window with a new offer for founders in participating accelerator programs: one year of the Startup Enterprise plan at no cost.
The goal is to put advanced network tooling in the hands of teams while they are still iterating on product, rather than after they have scaled. The plan bundles several Cloudflare products that normally sit behind enterprise contracts, giving early-stage companies room to build without immediate infrastructure cost concerns.
What founders get in the Startup Enterprise plan
The plan sits on top of Cloudflare's Pro and Business offerings, which include CDN, DNS, WAF, custom SSL certificates, and 50 page rules. On top of that baseline, Startup Enterprise adds:
- Cloudflare Workers: 50 million requests per month. Serverless code deploys across Cloudflare's global network, providing performance, reliability, and scale without managing underlying infrastructure.
- Cloudflare for Teams: 50 seats. A Zero Trust security platform that delivers network security as-a-service natively through the Cloudflare network.
- Cloudflare Stream: 500,000 minutes of video processing monthly, with 100,000 minutes of storage. The on-demand video platform offers a simple API and a usage-based pricing model.
Startup Enterprise participants can also request early access to upcoming Cloudflare products. Product managers will review use cases from participating startups for consideration in pilot programs.
Who qualifies
Eligibility requires current enrollment in a participating accelerator program or recent graduation from one. Individual accelerators will list additional criteria on their vendor perk information pages, so founders should check the specific requirements attached to the program they are in.
How to sign up
Founders in a participating accelerator should visit their program's vendor perk page and locate the Cloudflare listing to follow the enrollment instructions there. For those in programs that have not partnered yet, Cloudflare asks founders to reach out at [email protected] — either directly or by asking the accelerator's vendor perk coordinator to make contact. Accelerator staff and program operators can use the same address to inquire about making the tools available to their portfolio companies.
