GitHub’s SPORTech Collection Drops New Merch
GitHub has launched its SPORTech shop collection, a line of apparel and accessories themed around the idea that coding has become the world’s largest team sport. The new gear is aimed at developers of all levels, from newcomers to veterans. To mark the launch, the shop is offering free worldwide delivery on orders over $20 until May 20.
The Centerpiece: Mona Varsity Jacket

The headline item is the Mona Varsity Jacket, styled as a team uniform for developers. The design leans into the MVP metaphor, with GitHub Copilot positioned as the star teammate.
New Layers for Cooler Weather

The collection expands with three sweater options. The GitHub Collegiate Sweatshirt is designed to layer under the varsity jacket, and 1% of its proceeds go to water.org, a nonprofit focused on safe water and sanitation access.
Also new are Varsity Crewneck Sweatshirts in two fresh colorways, plus the Sportiqe Logo Patch Hoodie. For those who prefer a lighter layer, a long sleeve twill button-up is also part of the lineup.
Warm-Weather Gear and Drinkware

For warmer months, the shop has added Botanical Dye tees. On the hydration side, the new Disco Tumbler joins the existing drinkware collection, made from 100% recycled SAN plastic.
Carry-All for Travel and Commutes

The MiiR Laptop Backpack rounds out the bags category, built from recycled materials. Each MiiR product sold also supports nonprofit organizations focused on community empowerment and environmental health.
Beyond the New Drops

The free delivery offer applies to the entire shop, not just new arrivals. That includes items ranging from Mona plushies to skateboards and the classic stickers. Remote workers can browse the WFH Collection for additional options.
