A New Month, A New Set of Screens

July 2023 is here, and with it comes a fresh collection of desktop wallpapers crafted by artists and designers from around the world. As is tradition in this long-running community series, each design is available in versions with and without a July calendar, and every file is free to download.

This month’s submissions draw on the small pleasures that make summer memorable — a quiet evening outdoors, a brief rain shower on a hot ride, or the simple joy of a favorite treat. Whatever adventures the month brings, the artwork below is meant to offer a bit of visual inspiration for your screens.

The series has been running for more than twelve years, gathering original digital art from creatives who are given complete freedom over their themes. The designs are not directed or curated toward a particular topic; each artist starts from scratch with their own concept. If you would like to contribute to a future edition, submissions are open for upcoming posts.
