Exploring Carleton’s Hidden Architecture
Work has begun on a new photography book, with early planning meetings now underway with faculty and facilities staff at Carleton. The project’s focus is documenting the campus’s unseen corners—rooftops, tunnels, basements, and other secret rooms.
A central aim is to capture the traces left behind by earlier explorers, offering a window into the discovery of infrastructure that most people never see. The timeline is tight: a full library of images should be assembled by roughly week six, with the book’s source material ready the following week. Physical copies are targeted for completion before departure.
