Dropbox Brings Lists to Swift

Dropbox engineers took part in Swift Hack Day in San Francisco recently, and the event produced a new open-source project: a Swift port of the company's Lists sample app.

The original Lists app, built on Dropbox's Sync and Datastore SDKs, was released in September. The Swift version — now available on GitHub — serves as a demonstration of how Dropbox's APIs can be integrated into apps written with Apple's new programming language for iOS and OS X.

The Swift Lists repository is live on GitHub at dropbox/Lists-swift. Dropbox developer Leah Culver, who wrote the port, notes that the team is still getting comfortable with Swift and is inviting feedback and discussion through the developer forum.
