A single home for GitHub help and feedback

GitHub has consolidated its community forum, education forum, and product feedback channels into a single, free space: GitHub Community. Built on org-level GitHub Discussions, the new platform lives directly inside GitHub, giving users one place for user-to-user support, how-to guides, and feature requests.

Previously, finding help for a GitHub feature or release meant juggling multiple forums, several of which ran on non-GitHub sites and risked hosting outdated or unsupported information. GitHub Community eliminates that fragmentation by migrating relevant content from those separate platforms into one resource hub, preserving existing conversations in the process.

The platform is designed to serve everyone, from individual users to large enterprises, in a manner consistent with open-source principles. All resources and information are accessible without signing in—users only need a GitHub account to participate. With authentication, members can post questions, provide answers, submit feature requests, and engage with the broader community.

Whether you are troubleshooting a small issue or exploring best practices, GitHub Community centralizes the knowledge base, learning materials, and community interaction into a single, in-product experience. There’s no longer a need to maintain multiple logins or cross-reference scattered threads.

Get started by joining the conversation at the GitHub Community Discussions page.
