Zero Trust Roadshow: Turning Adoption Theory into Practice
Zero Trust is widely seen as a remedy for the weaknesses of traditional perimeter-based networking, yet many organizations find themselves stuck in the planning phase. According to Cloudflare, the recurring obstacle voiced by its customers is a simple one: “We aren’t sure how to get started.” Despite the market’s abundant talk on the subject, there is little in the way of actionable substance, which leaves teams unsure of their next move.
In response, Cloudflare is launching a series of in-person Zero Trust Roadshows in North American cities. The sessions are built for security and IT leaders and will pair Cloudflare executives with industry specialists and peer organizations. The common thread is a focus on breaking the Zero Trust roadmap into digestible segments, avoiding the pitfall of pushing adoption timelines back and enabling incremental progress toward:
- Augmenting (or replacing) a VPN: Gaining simple and secure resource access without harming employee experience, while cutting down the risk of lateral movement that is favored by hackers and ransomware campaigns.
- Streamlining SaaS security: Giving IT the necessary visibility and control over SaaS apps and email—so they can spot shadow IT, misconfiguration, or business email compromise before problems get worse.
- Strengthening threat and data protection: Securing data against modern threats, starting with basic DNS filtering and later extending Zero Trust to the internet and email using remote browser isolation.
The events will offer a more pragmatic view of security modernization carried out one step at a time. For those interested, the complete schedule and registration details can be found on the official Cloudflare Zero Trust Roadshow page.
