A New “For You” Tab for Your GitHub Dashboard
GitHub has introduced a beta version of its home feed dashboard, aimed at boosting community interaction and making it easier to discover interesting work across the platform. The new feed is designed to give developers more exposure for their releases, milestones, and discussions, helping projects reach audiences that are genuinely interested in their activity.

What the New Feed Offers
With the “For you” tab, GitHub is rolling out several features to tailor your feed to your specific interests:
- See projects that your network is starring, adding to lists, or depending on.
- Catch quality releases and project announcements.
- Track new maintainers joining GitHub Sponsors or reaching sponsorship goals.
- Receive updates from collaborators and projects you contribute to.
- Follow organizations to stay informed about launches, announcements, and sponsorships.
- Discover new repositories and users to follow, curated to your interests.
The feed will continue to evolve, and its content will become more relevant the more you follow specific projects and developers. Activity from those you follow will be highlighted more frequently, making the feed a more dynamic reflection of your personal GitHub community.
Related Updates: Lists and Organization Follows
The new feed arrives alongside other recently released features that enhance how you organize and track your work. GitHub Lists, now in public beta, allow you to curate favorite repositories and stay organized. You can add repositories to lists when starring them, which also benefits the feed—you’ll get more insight into what your friends are enjoying.
Additionally, you can now follow organizations. The “Follow” button on any organization page will keep you up to date with their project launches, sponsorships, and other announcements.
