Hashnode Moves Blog Hosting to Vercel for Faster Custom Domains
Developer blogging platform Hashnode has migrated its infrastructure to Vercel, a move designed to speed up page loads and simplify domain management. The platform, built on Next.js, was created around the idea that developers should retain full ownership of their published content.
A major part of that ownership is allowing writers to publish on their own custom domains—a feature Hashnode previously had to monitor and maintain in-house. After weighing options like AWS Amplify, the team chose Vercel for its scalable custom domain handling and developer-friendly workflow. Engineers now preview deployments via Vercel's Edge Network, testing changes in a production-like setting without needing separate staging environments.
