June Inspiration, on Your Screen

Many of us spent the last few weeks under gray skies and heavy coats. To help usher in brighter days, artists and designers from around the world have contributed their work to our monthly wallpaper series. The goal remains simple: to showcase community creativity and offer a bit of visual refreshment as we move into the new month.

Each design below is available for free download and comes in two versions, with and without a June 2021 calendar. Please note the following:

  • We deliberately avoid imposing our own themes. Each artist was granted full freedom to channel their own ideas and emotions, so the works reflect a spectrum of inspiration, not a prescribed editorial direction.

This series invites everyone to step outside their daily routine and explore their creative side—whether with digital tools, a camera, or just pen and paper. If you are interested in contributing to our next collection, we are always looking for creative talent.

PopArt Studio from Novi Sad, Serbia, offers a vibrant rebuttal to the persistent rain and fog of the previous weeks. Describing their work as intense, powerful, and vivid, they capture the energy of spring in a picturesque calendar design intended to summon the sunny side of June.

Ocean Folk Art for the Journey Ahead

Taylor Davidson from Kentucky draws on ocean folk art to capture the feeling of summer. For the designer, the theme evokes the season’s bright colors and the anticipation of travel, a sentiment they hope to pass on to viewers who may be missing those experiences.

Father’s Day Tribute

Fathers go by many names—Pa, Dad, Daddy, Pops—but they all share one trait in the eyes of their children: superhero status. To mark Father’s Day, Ever Increasing Circles from the United Kingdom designed this vibrant calendar-themed wallpaper as a tribute to dads everywhere.

Summer Swim Season

For designer Katie Ulrich of the United States, June triggers fond memories of summer days spent by the lake. Each person's favorite lake, beach, or pool is out there waiting. This design intends to be an invitation: pull out the swimsuit and go find it.

Wallpapers That Capture the Season

The June desktop wallpaper collection continues with two designs that lean into the mood of the season — one full of playful energy, the other carrying a more reflective message.

“Dancing In The Summer Moonlight” is a joyful piece from ActiveCollab. As the designer puts it, “If you’re happy and you know it - show some dance moves - because summer is finally here!” The artwork mirrors that celebratory tone, with the same set of calendar and no-calendar variants offered for every display size.

A more personal note comes through in “Love Yourz,” designed by James from Pennsylvania. The piece takes its name from J. Cole’s song, and its intent is straightforward: after a difficult year defined by negativity and division, the design serves as a reminder to appreciate your own life, since no one else’s is better than yours. It’s a message that fits both a workspace and a phone screen.
