Preparing for Your First DBX
DBX is nearly here, and if you’re a first-time attendee, a little planning goes a long way. Here’s what you need to know to navigate the day smoothly.
Schedule and Sleep
The day is packed with technical sessions, product demos, and special guests. Registration and breakfast open at 9am, with Drew Houston’s keynote starting promptly at 10:30am. Arrive early and get a full night’s rest beforehand.
Getting to the Venue
All events, including the general sessions and afterparty, are at the historic Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason. Several transportation options are available:
- MUNI: Several bus lines stop directly beside Fort Mason.
- Cabs: An easy ride from anywhere in the city.
- Car: Limited paid parking is on-site.
- Shuttles: Complimentary shuttles run every half hour between Civic Center, Caltrain, and Fort Mason.
- Walk: Weather permitting, it’s a pleasant stroll.
Bring Your Questions
The Dropbox engineering team will be at the platform help desk throughout the day to assist you with your app.
Stay for the Evening
Once the sessions wrap up, stick around for an evening of food, drinks, and company, along with a few special musical guests. See you there.
