Wallpapers for June: A Creative Break

Need a break from the routine? Our new collection of desktop wallpapers for June 2020 is designed to offer exactly that. Created by artists and designers from around the world, these free downloads are available in versions with and without a calendar.

The monthly wallpapers challenge has been a tradition here for over nine years, offering a chance to step away from deadlines and client briefs. It’s an opportunity to exercise creative muscles purely for fun, whether you work with digital tools, a camera, or just a pen and paper. The designs themselves are entirely the artists’ own; we give them full freedom to express their ideas and emotions without any thematic influence from us.

Honoring Sea Turtles

Turtles have long been viewed as wise, ancient creatures across many cultures. Chinese, Hindu, and Native American mythologies, for example, all depict them carrying the entire world on their backs. It's a belief that likely stems from their remarkable longevity.

On June 16, World Sea Turtle Day spotlights these 110 million-year-old animals, which were contemporaries of the dinosaurs. Simple habits like cleaning up and recycling can go a long way toward protecting these beautiful and exotic sea dwellers. This wallpaper was designed by PopArt Studio from Serbia.

A Nudge Toward Productivity

“Create More” combines a productivity reminder with a cheerful aesthetic. Hitesh Puri from India designed the piece around the idea that happiness boosts output: “There are people in your life who love you and depend on you. Happy people are more productive. The world needs more happy people these days.” The wallpaper is offered in PNG format, with and without a calendar.
