Enhancing Zaraz Support: Introducing Certified Developers

Scaling Zaraz support with a certified partner network

As Cloudflare Zaraz gains traction, the company's approach to customer support is shifting. Previously, the team offered hands-on, one-on-one assistance for users navigating complex setups — such as configuring click listeners, advanced triggers, and variables, or migrating large containers from Google Tag Manager. But with Zaraz's user base expanding rapidly, that model no longer scales.

The new answer is a roster of certified Zaraz developers. These individuals and agencies have completed an intensive training program and passed an exam demonstrating their expertise with the tool, including its advanced configuration options. They're now available to handle migration projects, configuration work, and ongoing maintenance for clients, with a direct channel to the Cloudflare Zaraz team when tricky issues arise.

Who's on the list

The first cohort of certified developers spans multiple regions and specialties:

Learning material is free

Most of the training content used for certification is publicly available. The Zaraz Developer Certification Program playlist on YouTube contains over four hours of video covering best practices for using Zaraz effectively. Businesses that want to build in-house expertise can use these resources at no cost.

A broader ecosystem play

This move follows Cloudflare's earlier step of open-sourcing Managed Components, which enables developers to write their own Zaraz integrations. Combined with the certified developer network, the goal is to position Zaraz as a stronger option for enterprises and large websites that need more than basic tag loading. Customers can now choose between self-serve education, professional assistance from certified partners, or a mix of both.
