Dropbox Takes Developer Events Global With Tel Aviv Dev Day

After hosting Developer Meetups in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle, Dropbox is expanding its developer community events internationally. The company has announced a Dropbox Dev Day in Tel Aviv, scheduled for Monday, August 27, at its newly opened engineering office in the city.

The event is split into two distinct parts: an afternoon "Getting Started" workshop and an evening happy hour meetup. Developers can choose to attend either session or both.

Afternoon Workshop: From Zero to Dropbox App

The "Getting Started with the Dropbox APIs" workshop targets developers unfamiliar with the Dropbox APIs who need help launching their first integration. Attendees will cover the fundamentals of the DBX Platform and complete the session having built a working Dropbox app.

Evening Meetup: Open House for the Developer Community

Following the workshop, the office will open for an evening happy hour and meetup. The session is open to Dropbox Partners, developers with existing integrations, and anyone curious about the Dropbox APIs. The evening will include food, swag, and the chance to connect with the team, ask questions, and hear about recent updates to the DBX Platform.

Dropbox is also offering office hours during its time in the city, providing developers with hands-on help for their integrations.

More details and registration for the workshop, meetup, and office hours are available on the event page. For the latest developer news and event announcements, follow @dropboxapi on Twitter.
