March Wallpapers: Fresh Designs for Desktop and Mobile

Spring is approaching, and with it comes a fresh batch of community-crafted wallpapers for March 2023. As part of our long-running monthly series — now over a decade old — designers from around the globe have contributed new artwork to help refresh your screens. Every design in this collection is available in two versions: one with a March 2023 calendar and one without. Each can be downloaded free of charge.

Artists were given complete creative freedom, so the themes you will see here are entirely their own. Click any preview image for a larger view, and if you are a designer yourself, remember that submissions for future editions are always open — you could be featured in an upcoming post.

Daydreaming

Bhabna Basak from India offers a contemplative design that captures the act of letting the mind wander. The artist describes it as "Daydreaming of better things, of lovely things, of saddening things," making it a fitting visual companion for a moment of pause during the month.

PopArt Studio from Serbia marks World Poetry Day with a design celebrating literary expression. The accompanying verse honors poets and the solace found in their words: "In these verses, we find solace and hope. And with each word, we learn to cope."
