Cloudflare Recognizes 2020 Partner Award Winners
Cloudflare has announced its first-ever Partner Awards, honoring the companies and individuals across its global partner ecosystem who delivered standout results in 2020. The awardees, representing organizations based in 16 countries, were recognized for their investment in Cloudflare technical expertise, their work building applications and services on the platform, and their focus on customer outcomes during a year that put unprecedented pressure on the Internet's security and reliability.
The full list of honorees follows, broken out by Cloudflare's sales geography.
Worldwide and Americas Winners
Worldwide MSP Partner of the Year: Rackspace Technology. This award goes to the top-performing managed services provider across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA.
In the Americas, the awards recognized the following:
- Partner of the Year: Optiv Security, for outstanding 2020 sales performance.
- Joint Solutions Partner of the Year: Sumo Logic, for business outcomes and commitment to joint customers.
- New Partner of the Year: GuidePoint Security, for making substantial investments in the shared business shortly after joining the partner network.
The region's Partner Systems Engineers of the Year — recognized for their certifications and customer-facing application of Cloudflare technology — are Stephen Semmelroth of Stratacore, Bill Franklin of AVANT, Kyle Rohan of GuidePoint Security, and Ryan Nieva of Optiv Security.
Most Valuable Player awards for building business value through networks and relationships went to Manooch Hosseini and Isaac Liu of Optiv, Leo Perez of RKON, Bill Milone of GuidePoint Security, and Kati Graff of Adapture.
APAC Partner Awards
Cloudflare's APAC region awards honored the following:
- Distributor of the Year: Softdebut Co., Ltd
- Services Partner of the Year: Pacific Tech Pte Ltd
Three individuals earned Partner Systems Engineer of the Year honors for being the first to complete four key Cloudflare certifications: Shim Chin Leong of Excer Global Sdn Bhd, Alex Yang of Omni Intelligent Services, and Eric Tung of Primary Guard Sdn Bhd.
The region's Most Valuable Players are Eric Cheng of NC Services Limited and Shripad Dhole of Wipro Limited.
EMEA Partner Awards
In EMEA, the awards went to:
- Partner of the Year: Safenames
- Distributor of the Year: V-Valley
- New Partner of the Year: Synopsis
KUWAITNET, Origo, and WideOps were named Cloudflare Certification Champions for recording the highest team totals of Cloudflare certifications.
EMEA Partner Systems Engineers of the Year are Mika Peltonen of Ambientia, Illia Melnikov of BAKOTECH, Jobin Joseph and Varghese George of KUWAITNET, Guðlaugur Garðar Eyþórsson of Origo, Maik Ellerbrock of Rackspace, Vahid Madi of Synopsis, and Roberto López Sánchez of V-Valley.
