Find joy in the ordinary, appreciate the beauty of the world around you, and always strive to make a positive impact, leaving a legacy of fulfillment and happiness.”

Baisakhi Blessings

Designed by Cronix from the United States, this submission draws on the spirit of Baisakhi, the spring harvest festival. The designer explains that their art is rooted in the festival’s themes of gratitude and unity.

“Through this design, I aim to capture the essence of Baisakhi, a celebration of gratitude, unity, and the bountiful blessings of nature. In creating my Baisakhi artwork, I was inspired by the timeless imagery of wheat fields and dancing figures. The golden grains symbolize abundance and prosperity, while the lively dancers represent the joyous spirit of the harvest season.”

An Eid Tableau

Cronix also contributed a second piece for April, one that leans into the visual motifs of Eid. Their depiction uses the “soft light of the Eid moon” as a key element to set the scene.

“Inspired by the timeless tradition of giving and sharing during Eid, my wallpaper design depicts the happiness of being together with family, the soft light of the Eid moon, and the cheerful feeling of celebration.”

A Calendar Without Occasion

Sometimes the season is occasion enough. PopArt Studio from Serbia took that approach for April, crafting a minimal, pastel calendar that pairs custom lettering with subtle plant detailing. The design leans on a gentle spring palette, and the team notes that the month itself was the spark: no holiday or milestone required, just the mood of the season.

Swing Into Spring

The wallpaper is available without a calendar at a wide range of resolutions:

Renewal

LibraFire from Serbia offers a different read on the season. Their submission leans into the idea of rebirth, treating each spring bloom as a kind of perseverance: life that re-emerges after every dormant stretch. The caption pulls no punches — “despite the threat that has befallen us all” — but it's forward-looking, an argument for resilience over resignation.

Spring Awakens

The calendar-free version comes in these formats:

Isolation, Framed

Vlad Gerasimov from Georgia found an unusual subject for March 26, which marked Solitude Day. Rather than an abstract take on being alone, he went with the real thing: an actual house that he describes as the loneliest in the world, spotted originally on YouTube. The visual is a study in isolation, turning a digital aside into a desktop backdrop.

Gal Shir’s “Dreaming” captures the moment “when you just walk and your imagination fills up your mind with thoughts.” The wallpaper is available in a no-calendar version from 340x480 up to 2560x1440 for desktop displays.
