A meeting of minds at CYBERTEC HQ
CYBERTEC recently hosted its first partner event at its headquarters in Wöllersdorf, gathering partners for two days of knowledge sharing and collaboration. The event was designed to strengthen relationships that have helped drive the company’s growth over two decades.
Day one kicked off with leadership sessions covering core strategic topics.
Product roadmap and partner enablement
The opening session outlined the product vision, detailing the innovation roadmap and how CYBERTEC plans to keep delivering value to partners and customers.

A session on marketing explored how to leverage global synergies for greater brand recognition through a joint market presence. This was followed by an overview of available partner assets.

PostgreSQL support was another key agenda item. The company highlighted its two decades of Postgres expertise and discussed strategies and resources for 2025 with partners.

Two product introductions rounded out the day’s sessions. The CYBERTEC Migrator was presented as a tool for simplifying database migrations, positioned as the fastest and easiest route from Oracle to Postgres. Attendees also got a look at CYPEX, a platform for developing database-driven applications, with a lively Q&A session.

Postgres as the common thread
A central theme was PostgreSQL’s market position. The discussion framed Postgres not just as a technically superior database, but as a consistently “good enough” solution offering performance, flexibility and scalability for diverse applications. This versatility makes it a practical choice for partners and their clients.
Partners also took the stage to share their own successes and innovations, providing opportunities for cross-community learning.
The first day wrapped up with a wine and dining experience at the Johanneshof Reinisch winery, including a private tour of the wine cellar.

Day two: Feedback and forward-looking tech
Interactive sessions and Kubernetes deep dive
Day two shifted to interactive feedback sessions designed to gather partner insights and foster open communication. The focus then turned to a discussion on PostgreSQL and Kubernetes, covering how their integration enables new levels of scalability and operational efficiency.

Recognizing partner contributions
The event closed with the Partner Awards ceremony. This year’s honorees were PROVENTA, named Partner of the Year 2024, and Paxia, recognized as Rookie of the Year 2024. CYBERTEC thanked all attending partners for their ongoing contributions to the company’s shared success.
