Notion-connected v0 builds on your actual workspace data

v0 can now connect securely to Notion, giving the AI tool direct access to the documents, databases, and context teams already maintain. Instead of describing project details from scratch, v0 reads from the source of truth in Notion and builds on top of it.

The connection works both ways. v0 can pull data from Notion databases and pages to generate UI, and it can write back results—updating PRDs with implementation notes, adding generated summaries to project pages, or saving content directly into the appropriate workspace location.

What the integration enables

With Notion available as an MCP tool inside v0, teams can produce outputs that previously required manually assembling context across multiple tools. Practical use cases include:

  • Dashboards and internal tools built directly from Notion database contents
  • Product prototypes generated from PRDs stored in Notion
  • Content workflows driven by briefs, calendars, and docs in the workspace
  • Project and operations summaries derived from team trackers
  • Product demos based on customer insights and feedback collected in Notion
  • Presentation slides generated from outlines in Notion

Read access lets v0 operate on real project context, while write access closes the loop: generated insights, weekly summaries, or design refinements can be saved straight back into the relevant Notion pages without manual copying.

From fragmented tools to a single prompt

The v0 team used the integration to simplify its own event coordination workflow. Previously, event management required juggling a form for submissions, a Notion database for details, and separate spreadsheets for tracking reach and progress—a setup that became harder to keep consistent as the number of events grew.

With the Notion connection, the same process compresses to one prompt:

I want to build a tracking dashboard for our v0

IRLs (events) using our Notion events database.

Give me metrics for:

- events completed (monthly, yearly, weekly)

- attendees engaged (monthly, yearly, weekly)

- forward-looking events (scheduled count +

weekly additions)

Build an intuitive dashboard I can send to my team

every Friday, with a clear summary of the top data my

team cares about. Use only events created after

November 11th.

v0 read from the Notion database and generated a working dashboard in seconds. Subsequent iterations refined metrics, improved the design, and added summaries drawn from fields in the database. With write access enabled, v0 also posted the weekly summary and key metrics back into the team's Notion events page, turning a formerly multi-tool process into a repeatable few-prompt workflow.

Getting started

To use the integration, enable the Notion MCP integration in your v0 project, connect the workspace, and ask v0 questions about your data. A starter template built around a community events dashboard is available to customize with your own pages and databases.
