Cloudflare One Partner Momentum

Cloudflare’s partner ecosystem has become a central part of how customers adopt Cloudflare One, its SASE platform combining Zero Trust security and cloud-delivered networking services. As enterprises move away from legacy on-premise appliances toward cloud architectures, partners are increasingly the ones guiding assessments, implementations, and ongoing management.

Over the past year, partner-led Cloudflare One business has grown substantially. Cloudflare reports a 3x increase in Cloudflare One partner bookings, and the number of transacting partners is up 70% year-over-year. According to Cloudflare, partners attribute this demand to the simplicity of deploying and managing the platform, confidence in the company’s roadmap and pace of innovation, and the scale and resilience of its global network.

Customer migrations to cloud-delivered SASE typically split into two broad efforts: transforming the network layer and modernizing security with Zero Trust principles. Both present distinct opportunities for partners with the right skills.

Network Layer Transformation

As multi-cloud and hybrid architectures become standard, networking infrastructure must adapt to connect easily across cloud environments. Organizations that have relied on SD-WAN and MPLS are exploring cloud-based network-as-a-service (NaaS) offerings such as Cloudflare’s Magic WAN, part of the Cloudflare One platform, to gain flexibility and reduce costs.

For some organizations, network transformation is a more accessible entry point than a full Zero Trust migration. NaaS allows them to retain existing security tools while still laying a path toward a perimeter-less architecture with cloud-delivered protection.

Zero Trust Security Modernization

Modernizing security for employees, devices, and offices with Zero Trust is an equally pressing priority, driven largely by hybrid and remote work trends. Legacy castle-and-moat architectures are giving way to models that offer enhanced visibility, granular controls, and identity-aware protection across all traffic.

Despite the clear benefits, implementing Zero Trust is rarely something organizations do alone. Cloudflare cites an iVanti report indicating that while 73% of companies plan to move to a cloud-based architecture within 18 months, 46% of IT security teams lack confidence in their ability to apply a Zero Trust model on their own, and 34% plan to rely on third-party security providers for implementation.

Authorized Services Delivery Partner Track

To formalize the role partners play in Cloudflare One deployments, Cloudflare is announcing limited availability of a new specialization track for Authorized Services Delivery Partners (ASDP). The track is designed to recognize partners that meet Cloudflare’s standards for professional services delivery around Cloudflare One.

Candidates must pass a rigorous technical validation process, with assessments covering the security, performance, and reliability of their services delivery capabilities. Partners that earn the designation gain access to several benefits:

  • Engagement in Cloudflare One sourced opportunities that require services
  • Access to named Cloudflare One partner service delivery managers to help build out their services practices
  • Access to special partner incentive funds to encourage use of authorized partner services in Cloudflare One customer engagements

To support the new track, Cloudflare is also introducing advanced enablement and training paths in both instructor-led and online formats via the partner portal. These are complemented by advanced lab environments where partners can learn to implement and support Cloudflare One deployments. Partners that complete the ASDP requirements will also have opportunities to shadow customer deployments to build hands-on expertise.
