A New Season for Your Screen
October marks a turn toward shorter days, cooler air, and the visual shift from late-summer greens to deep oranges and browns. For designers and artists, it is also a chance to translate that seasonal mood into desktop wallpapers. This month's collection, created by contributors from around the world, offers a range of interpretations—from cozy rain-soaked scenes to playful Halloween motifs.
Every wallpaper in the set is available in two variants: one with an October 2021 calendar and one without. That way, the artwork can serve as a practical desktop for tracking deadlines or remain usable year-round as a standalone image. A preview image is included for each design so you can see the full artwork before downloading.
As always, the artists were given complete creative freedom. The themes you see here were not assigned or directed—each piece reflects the individual maker's own inspiration and artistic voice. That independence is part of what keeps the monthly series fresh after more than a decade of submissions.

Goddess Makosh
