Notion Workers: Notion’s First Step Toward a Developer Platform
Notion Workers, the company’s most developer-facing product to date, is powered by Vercel’s sandboxing technology. According to Notion CEO Ivan Zhao, the launch reflects a broader belief that more knowledge will be powered by agents, and that more product will become agent- and developer-facing. Zhao described the offering as Notion's first step in that direction.
The release, which Jonathan Clem characterized as an “extreme pre-alpha,” arrives alongside Custom Agents. Clem, who joined Notion with the ambition of turning it into a developer platform, noted that Notion Workers is just the beginning of that effort.
