When to use tablespaces in PostgreSQL
The question comes from an Oracle background: a database where a handful of tables reach terabyte scale while most tables stay under 1 GB. In Oracle, the large tables and their indexes are split into separate tablespaces for growth and closer monitoring.
The ask: does the one tablespace rule still hold in PostgreSQL, and how is that split done in a Postgres environment?
