A Partner Ecosystem, Brought into Alignment

Drawing an analogy between the popular puzzle and the PostgreSQL ecosystem, CYBERTEC sees its partner network as a set of interlocking elements that need to be aligned to function effectively. The company recently hosted its second annual Rubik’s Cube Get-Together in Vienna to foster that alignment, emphasizing that the collaboration between system integrators, technology partners, resellers, and service providers ultimately creates value for shared customers.

The event took place on September 5, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, immediately following PGDay Austria. The schedule kicked off with a casual morning session featuring coffee and an opening recap of the ecosystem's joint achievements over the preceding year.

Expanding the Network

A key segment of the agenda was dedicated to integrating newly onboarded partners into the wider community. The goal was to accelerate onboarding by establishing direct connections with existing members.

The roster of new partners introduced this year included FerretDB, Readyset, Liberatii, Redgate, metalstack, Nibble IT, Opensource DB, Dbvisit, Reforms21, Anaxmander, Xynomics, and Hopla. According to CYBERTEC, these additions broaden the ecosystem's reach in terms of technology innovation, regional footprint, and supplemental services.

Strategy, Recognition, and Regional Insights

The agenda was structured to balance product knowledge with collaborative strategy. Highlights included:

  • Product roadmaps: CYBERTEC presented updates on recent developments and upcoming features.
  • Regional panel: Representatives from Paxia, OpensourceDB, and a South African partner discussed regional challenges and operational approaches, prompting discussion among attendees.
  • Partner Awards: Proventa, Cloudway, and Readyset were recognized for their collaboration and impact, with Readyset being a new recipient this year.
  • Market strategy: The team reviewed feedback from the prior year’s event and detailed how those insights shaped the 2025 go-to-market approach.

Building Relationships Beyond the Agenda

Informal networking remained a core component of the gathering. The day’s schedule allowed ample time for discussions over coffee, which organizers noted often spark new concepts. The event concluded with a guided walk through Vienna’s historic center and a medieval-themed dinner, providing a backdrop for strengthening professional ties outside a conference setting.

With the 2025 event concluded, CYBERTEC views the gathering as a demonstration of how connected partners can drive significant outcomes for clients. The company is looking ahead to continued collaboration within the community in the coming year.
