v0 now targets team collaboration and enterprise security

Vercel has expanded its generative UI platform v0 beyond individual use, launching v0 Team and v0 Enterprise plans. The new offerings are designed for organizations that need to collaborate at scale while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.

Since v0's introduction last October, users have generated over four million designs, from complex dashboards to polished marketing sites. The platform has since evolved beyond simple UI generation into a broader development assistant that can write functional code, debug existing projects, migrate legacy code, and help users learn web development. Now, the company is positioning it as a team-level tool where knowledge and code can be shared across an organization.

What teams can do with v0

The platform is aimed at a broad set of use cases across an organization, not just frontend development:

  • Code generation and technical support: v0 can assist with debugging, writing tests, handling migration tasks, and generating React UIs using third-party libraries for dynamic applications.
  • Planning support: Teams can use v0 to plan new features within the context of their existing web application and generate corresponding tests to streamline the development workflow.
  • Prototyping and design: v0 offers advanced animation and 3D asset creation, allowing teams to build interactive mockups on their own tech stack without relying on standard design tools.
  • Sales and marketing: SEO-friendly landing pages and tailored customer demos can be produced quickly for sales pitches and stakeholder reviews.

The underlying goal is to give each team member access to senior-level Next.js and React expertise. Experienced engineers can ship code faster, while non-technical colleagues can build working prototypes without needing to code.

How Projects centralize team knowledge

To prevent institutional knowledge from being scattered across individual chats or outdated documentation, v0 provides Projects. Within a Project, team members can define custom instructions that govern how v0 responds in all related chats. Teams can also add their own sources—PDFs, TXT files, code files, and other documentation—so result generations reflect a team's specific architecture methods, style guides, and documentation rather than generic best practices.

v0 Team pricing

The v0 Team plan starts at $30 per user per month. It offers higher messaging limits, centralized billing on the Vercel platform, and the ability to share chats, blocks, and entire projects with members of your team.

Enterprise security and controls

For organizations handling sensitive information, the v0 Enterprise tier adds governance and security options:

  • No data training soak: Queries, messages, and uploads are excluded from all post-training processes, giving protection to proprietary code and internal development strategies.
  • Single sign-on (SSO): Enterprise users log in with existing organization credentials, allowing v0 access to align with an organization’s compliance and security policies.
  • Higher rate limits: Team members can send more queries to v0 for larger, more complex undertakings.
  • Guaranteed results: Enterprise subscribers get priority access with fast results and are never subject to concurrent user capacity limits.
