Scheduled reminders general availability
Scheduled reminders for pull requests have officially moved out of beta. Your team can now automate a daily nudge about pending reviews and spend less time waiting on others to look at code.
Keep the review queue moving
The feature posts a prioritized, daily list of pull requests awaiting review straight into a team’s Slack channel. You control how often reminders appear, and filters can be set to limit noise so the highest-impact reviews stay front and center without getting buried.
The idea is straightforward: with a consistent, visible queue, teams can cut review latency and ship more work.
Personalized pings for org members
Individual members of organization accounts can also opt into personal daily reminders and real-time Slack updates. This covers both PRs that need their attention and ones that are ready to merge. The aim is to help developers respond faster on reviews and wrap up their own open pull requests sooner.
Support is currently limited to organization accounts, and requires the GitHub and Slack integration to be installed and enabled for the organization. More detail is available in the official documentation on managing scheduled reminders for pull requests.
