Connecting With GitHub Employees at Universe 2020
GitHub Universe is going fully virtual this year, running December 8-10. As part of that shift, GitHub's Social Impact Team is opening up a limited number of one-on-one sessions with its employees for conference attendees.
These micro-mentoring sessions are designed for newcomers looking to talk with industry experts across a range of topics, from marketing to product. Each session is a 30-minute, 1:1 conversation with a GitHub employee, scheduled for December 7, 2020, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm PT.
The initiative is part of GitHub's broader effort to keep its conferences accessible and inclusive, with the Social Impact Team partnering with local nonprofits and meetup groups to bring more diversity to the event.
