Vercel names Nick Bogaty chief revenue officer
Vercel has appointed Nick Bogaty as its new Chief Revenue Officer, placing him at the head of the company's global sales organization as it shifts focus toward what it calls the "agentic web" and AI-driven infrastructure.
Bogaty brings over two decades of experience in enterprise go-to-market leadership. Most recently, he built and scaled the enterprise go-to-market organization for Adobe Express at Adobe. Prior to that, he served as CRO at AppDynamics, where he helped grow the business from $100M to $700M leading up to its acquisition by Cisco, and managed a global team of 1,250 people across sales and post-sales. He also held the CRO role at Instabug, a Series B startup.
Beyond enterprise sales, Bogaty has a product and standards background. He co-founded Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, which was the largest homegrown Adobe business since Acrobat at the time, and served as Executive Director of the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF), where he developed the EPUB standard for electronic books—a format still used by Apple and Amazon. He also holds a patent for an electronic book distribution system.
In a statement, Bogaty said: "I believe Vercel is ready to own its place as the primary platform for the web and AI agents at the world's largest companies."
An AI-forward sales model
Bogaty takes over a sales organization that Vercel says is being reshaped around AI. The company's GTM Engineering team has been applying AI to internal sales and marketing challenges, building agents on the Vercel AI Cloud through a "dogfooding" approach. Some of that work has been open-sourced, including a Lead Agent template.
"I've been lucky enough to be part of a world-class sales organization at AppDynamics and to be part of world-class product teams at Adobe," Bogaty said. "Vercel offers the best of both: unmatched product innovation with enterprise go-to-market excellence. It's a rare and precious combination."
Bogaty will run the company's global sales team as it targets both large enterprises and early-stage startups. Vercel is currently hiring for sales roles across the organization.
