Cloudflare OS provides an agent workspace for every person in an organization, connected to company data and systems and aware of how the business operates. The company has opened a waitlist for fully managed deployments.
The work it targets is the recurring kind: preparing for a customer meeting means learning how the company runs such meetings, reviewing the account in the CRM, checking support tickets and product usage, and assembling a short presentation. Repeated many times a month, that becomes a workload for an agent. Users can ask the agent to do the work, build a tool for their team, or shift between the two as needs change.
Since the initial announcement and the release of the open source repository, thousands of organizations have adopted Cloudflare OS to work with company data, produce docs and slides, build team tools, and automate work with agents.
Managed deployments
Launching an organization's workspace through the Cloudflare dashboard requires only a few inputs: the custom domain to use, the applicable Cloudflare Access policies, and which AI Gateway to connect. Cloudflare handles the rest.
Self-deployment from the open source repository into an existing Cloudflare account remains available and preserves full control, but configuration, operation, and upgrades become the operator's responsibility. The managed option leaves access control, organizational skills and context, and reachable systems in the customer's hands, with the operational burden shifted to Cloudflare. Organizations interested in a managed deployment can join the waitlist.
Additions from the past month
Git repositories and code
The initial release concentrated on work outside software development. Agents could write code for an app but could not operate on code in an existing Git repository. Existing GitHub repositories can now be connected, and agents can explore a codebase, fix bugs, add features, or open pull requests — searching and editing files, reviewing changes, creating commits, and pushing them to GitHub.
Google Workspace
Google Workspace carries much of the decision-making and context in many organizations: email threads, Drive, Sheets, and Calendar. The Google Workspace Gatekeeper — a service-specific Worker mediating between Cloudflare OS and an external service — has been substantially improved. Cloudflare OS can read and research Gmail threads, create drafts, and send emails, and it can connect an entire Google Drive, a specific folder, or an individual doc or sheet.
Export formats
The built-in document, presentation, and spreadsheet experiences export to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), CSV, PDF, Markdown, or HTML, depending on the artifact. Microsoft Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) export is coming soon. Tools built on Cloudflare OS can define their own export formats: a request such as "let me download this schedule as a calendar file (.ics)" adds that option to the tool's export menu.
