One marketplace for AI-powered development tools
Integrating AI services into a project typically means juggling separate dashboards, billing systems, and authentication flows for each vendor. A team adopting three different AI tools can burn hours wiring up integrations before writing any application code.
Vercel's new AI agents and services category in its Marketplace aims to remove that friction. AI workflows can now be added to projects as native Vercel integrations, with unified billing, observability, and installation flows built into the platform.
Two kinds of building blocks
The category splits AI offerings into two types:
- Agents perform specialized work on behalf of the developer
- Services supply the infrastructure to build and run custom agents
This pairing lets teams start with purpose-built agents to accelerate existing workflows, then move to custom agents as needs evolve.
Agents handle specific jobs
Agents are pre-built systems that reason, act, and adapt inside existing workflows. Rather than building code review automation from scratch or monitoring yet another control panel, developers can install an agent that operates where their applications already run.
The launch cohort includes three agents:
- CodeRabbit offers automated code review, analyzing pull requests for code quality, security issues, and best practices.
- Corridor provides instant code security reviews and enforces guardrails to protect AI-generated code in real time.
- Sourcery generates and reviews code for every project change, aiming to reduce bugs and security risks on the path from idea to production.
All three integrate with GitHub through a single onboarding flow. Once installed, an agent begins monitoring repositories and acting on changes according to its specialization.
Services support custom agents
Services provide the primitives for creating, customizing, monitoring, and scaling bespoke agents. The launch cohort includes eight offerings:
- Autonoma automates regression testing using AI, with no code required for complete test coverage.
- Braintrust offers an agent observability platform with evaluation frameworks for systematic testing and monitoring.
- Browser Use lets AI agents control real browsers via natural-language commands, turning browser interactions into programmable actions.
- Chatbase helps build, analyze, and optimize customer-facing conversational agents with analytics and tuning tools.
- Descope is a no-code/low-code external identity platform for managing authentication journeys for customers, partners, and AI agents through visual workflows, SDKs, and APIs.
- Kernel provides browsers-as-a-service, hosting and scaling browser automation infrastructure in the cloud so agents can use the internet.
- Kubiks orchestrates multi-step AI workflows and goes beyond observability with automated remediation before users encounter issues.
- Mixedbread converts documents, images, code, and audio/video into searchable knowledge stores via API, allowing AI systems to retrieve accurate information across formats and languages.
These services plug into existing CI/CD, observability, and automation workflows on Vercel, so teams can build agents suited to their company, products, and customers.
Standardized installs and billing
Installing an agent or service takes a few clicks. Some run directly on AI Cloud; others connect through Marketplace integration. All share unified billing through the Vercel account and surface in the project's observability dashboard.
Every listing must meet Vercel's integration standards for quality and developer experience, which means consistent authentication flows, standard logging formats, and predictable configuration patterns across vendors.
Getting started
Developers can browse the AI agents and services available in the Vercel Marketplace and add them to projects directly. Companies building agents or AI infrastructure can apply to join the Marketplace as providers and reach teams already deploying on Vercel.
